More and more top-class content providers are joining Ontario’s rapidly expanding iGaming space. Launched earlier this year on April 4, the market has attracted enormous interest from online gaming providers from all over the world.

One such recent new addition is the Gibraltar-based Wizard Games, part of Aspire Global’s super successful Pariplay brand.

Launched in November last year, Wizard Games has just introduced its premium iGaming offerings to Ontario. This was made possible by a supplier license awarded to Pariplay by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO).

Where to Play Wizard Games

Following the Ontario green light, Wizard Games’ entire portfolio of 120+ games has gone live.

Wizard is the driving force behind some of the most popular online casino games. Their portfolio includes classic favorites such as Wolf Riches, Dragons of the North, and Rumble Rhino Megaways.  These and more premium titles are now available from 888casino and BetMGM.

More operators will reportedly be added to this list in time.

North America a Key Area

Managing Director for Wizard Games, Joey Hurtado, commented on the Ontario launch in a press release. Hurtado said the studio’s games were performing exceptionally well across North America. He said licensed entry into Ontario marks the latest important milestone for the studio in this region.

Hurtado described the newly regulated market as an important step on the studio’s own growth journey. He said the team is excited about embarking on a thrilling new journey. It engages with and provides entertainment for a brand-new audience of online gaming enthusiasts.

Pariplay stands central to the new adventure embarked on by Wizard Games. Pariplay runs and operates the renowned and super successful Fusion platform. This procures and distributes thousands of premium titles created by the world’s top iGaming studios – including Evolution, iSoftBet, Quickspin, NetEnt, and Microgaming

No More OLG Monopoly

Before the official launch of a private iGaming market in Ontario in April, the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) enjoyed a monopoly on online gaming and sports betting

Now that the market has been privatized, this has changed. Private operators and providers now get to bring their content to local players in a legal, regulated manner.

Europe a Priority

For Wizard Games, distributing its content across several key European markets has been top propriety. The studio now provides its games to several markets, including Italy, Spain, Latvia, Estonia, and Sweden.

Wizard’s games are proving exceptionally popular among players across other Canadian provinces and in the US. These include Alberta, New Jersey, and West Virginia. Wizard Games first made its entry into the booming US market following a milestone agreement alongside 888casino. This was back in November 2019.

Then, in January 2022, Pariplay was named a provisional licensed iGaming provider in Michigan. This meant yet another significant goal was reached.

What’s more, Aspire Global recently obtained the Gaming Labs International certification standard GLI-19. After which, it went on to launch its PAM (Player Account Management) platform in Canada and the US.

Onwards to Greater Heights

Shortly before the studio entered Ontario’s booming iGaming sector, it secured a significant deal with Scandinavian operator giant Paf. This saw Wizard Gaming launch more than 100 of its games across several Nordic countries.

According to Hurtado, Paf is a leader in iGaming and online entertainment. As such, Hurtado said linking up with the industry giant has brought about a fresh new opportunity for everybody involved.
